- 1992,12 0ctober-The Ex-Priminister Shek Hasina opened the foundation stone of the University.
- 21November,2002- First VC Dr. Yousuf Shorif Ahmed Khan,a Sea Scientist, Jioned the University.
- 8 August,2003- The first admission test held in varsity campus.
